NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Waitsburg City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter to consider approval of an
Application for a Shoreline Development Permit.Applicant: City of Waitsburg
Date of Application: March 3, 2008
Letter of Completeness Issue Date: March 4, 2008
Location of Property: 20 +/- on either side of the Touchet River Bridge along Preston Avenue, Waitsburg, WA.
Project Description: Installation of a pedestrian sidewalk starting just
prior to the Touchet River Bridge and extending to the intersection of Preston Ave and Maple Street.
Requested Approvals:
Waitsburg Planning Commission, Waitsburg City Council and Washington State Department of Transportation
Public Comment Period:
The public comment period for this project shall be no less than 14 days (March 18, 2008) nor more than 30 days (April 4, 2008)
Existing Environmental Documents: NEPA, JARPA All interested
citizens are invited to attend the hearing and present evidence in favor or opposition of the Shoreline Permit related to the Preston Ave. Sidewalk project. A copy of the project details and permit application can
be obtained by contacting the City Clerk for the City of Waitsburg, 147 Main Street, P.O. Box 35, Waitsburg, WA 99361 or by telephone 337-6371. Planning Commission action may or may not include a recommendation
to the City Council to adopt this request. A final decision on this permit will be made within 120 days (9/04/2008) of the date of the letter of completeness. Dated this 8th
