Utilities aren't very glamorous, but nearly everyone appreciates having water, sewer & garbage services.
The City of Waitsburg proudly provides these services to the community. Utilities are charged for the month of service rather than the month in advance (e.g., January's bill is received in February but reflects charges for January use). Utility bills are due the 20th of each month, and you can bring your payment by City Hall, drop it in the payment box to the north side of City Hall, or enjoy the convenience of paying for your utilities securely online with our online bill pay.
Our garbage service is through Basin Disposal, Inc. Garbage is picked up every Tuesday, regardless of holidays.
Effective January 1st, 2024, new utility rates are in affect for all utility users. A 2.5% rate increase went into affect at the first of the year for January billing as well as an additional $10.00 utility tax for the purpose of helping with flood control in and around the City of Waitsburg. Please contact City Hall Staff should you have any questions regarding the increases.
