The Weller Public Library is a dynamic civic resource that supports an informed community, lifelong learning, and the love of reading by providing all area residents access to the universe of ideas and information.
The Board of Trustees is appointed by the City Council and is charged with overseeing the operation of the library, planning and resolving any library needs. The Board meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m in the library.
The Friends of the Library raise the funds for books, tapes, new computers and other patron services. They promote the library and present activities. Group meets at 7pm on the last Monday of each month at the Library.
Sit down and have a word with the namesake of our library, Fanny Weller. She doesn't usually have much to say, but she's a great listener and undefeated stare-down champion.
